Welcome to the Gratitude Jar Meditation, where we will be expressing our thankfulness for all the wonderful things in our lives.
To start, find a comfortable seated position and take a deep breath. Now, imagine a jar in front of you. This is your Gratitude Jar.
Each day, take a slip of paper and write down something you're grateful for. It could be anything from your morning coffee to your favorite pair of socks. Get creative!
Now, fold up your slip of paper and put it in the jar. As you drop it in, imagine a little confetti explosion of gratitude. Woo hoo!
Continue this practice for a week or a month, depending on your preference.
Finally, it's time to read the slips of paper. But before you do, grab a drumroll sound effect on your phone and hit play. Let's add some suspense to this gratitude party.
Okay, now you can open the jar and pull out your slips of paper. Read them aloud and revel in your thankfulness. And if you happen to find a slip of paper that says "I'm grateful for my Gratitude Jar," well, that's just gratitude-ception.
