Good Morning. Close your eyes and imagine yourself floating on a calm, blue ocean. The sun is shining and the breeze is blowing, gently carrying you along. You are in a state of peace, surrounded by nothing but the sound of the waves.

Now, imagine that this ocean represents your recovery journey. Every time you feel yourself getting pulled by the currents of addiction, you take a deep breath and let the ocean carry you back to shore. With each breath, you feel more and more grounded in your sobriety.

As you float, you begin to see all the beauty that surrounds you. Schools of fish swim by, dolphins jump in the distance, and seagulls call overhead. You are reminded that there is a whole world out there waiting for you to explore. And as you continue your journey, you come across a pirate ship. But instead of being frightened, you burst out laughing. Because this pirate is you, before you started your recovery journey.

Armed with only a bottle of rum, and stumbling around aimlessly. Now you are a pirate no more. You've left the life of addiction behind. So, let the ocean carry you forward, and always remember the beauty that surrounds you. With each new day, you are one step closer to the shore of a happy, healthy life. Namaste.
