๐ŸŽฏ Rob Lowe Rides the Wave of Sobriety: Celebrating 33 Years with Sunsets and Serenity!

Guess who's celebrating a whopping 33 years of sobriety? It's our buddy Rob Lowe! You know, the cool actor from "9-1-1: Lone Star." Rob took to Instagram to share his joy and inspire others who are battling addiction. He posted a pic of himself chilling in beautiful tropical water with a breathtaking sunset behind him. Talk about living the good life! But it wasn't always like this. Three decades ago, Rob found his way to recovery and a supportive group of people who've helped him stay on the right path.

And guess what? His son John Owen Lowe, who acts alongside his dad in the Netflix show "Unstable," is super proud of Rob's achievement. John Owen knows firsthand how much his dad's support meant to him when he was struggling with addiction. He even credits his old man as the main reason he's leading a healthy, sober life. Rob is a family man through and through. He treasures his bond with his kids and isn't afraid to give some advice to fellow dads. According to him, keeping your kids alive and not doing anything stupid is part of the job description. Oh, and forget about privacy at home unless you're footing the bills. Ouch!

So let's raise a glass of sparkling water to Rob Lowe's awesome milestone and his inspiring message of hope and joy. Cheers!

๐ŸŽฏ Charles Kelley the Country Star's Greek Getaway Turns Into Wake-Up Call: Battling Booze and Saving His Family!

Lady A's Charles Kelley had a wakeup call that hit him harder than a sledgehammer. The country star finally admitted he had a teensy-weensy drinking problem. Now, he wasn't your typical "waking up in a bush" kind of guy, but his wife, Cassie McConnell, was on the edge of calling it quits during their Greek getaway.

Picture this: Charles, after a heated argument, goes out on an all-night boozing spree with total strangers. Meanwhile, poor Cassie, bless her heart, stayed up all night worried sick. When he finally stumbled back to the hotel, she unleashed the fury on him and said he needed help. And guess what? He actually agreed! Talk about a miracle.

It turns out, their adorable 7-year-old son, Ward, had been paying close attention to Daddy's drinking shenanigans. Ward started dropping hints like, "Daddy's talking funny," or "You guys sure argue a lot." Those innocent comments broke Charles' heart and made him realize he had to make a change.

So off he flew, like a superhero, straight from Greece to rehab. Cassie thought it was the end of their marriage, but the thought of Ward growing up without a clue about his dad's chaotic lifestyle made her reconsider.

Lesson learned, folks. Even famous folks like Charles Kelley can have a reality check. After all, family is worth more than a night of wild partying.

๐ŸŽฏ Schools Upgrade Drug Education: Say No to Fentanyl and Stay Informed!

Did you know that drug education in schools is getting a major upgrade? Yep, they realized that just saying "No" to drugs isn't cutting it anymore. So now, they're focusing on something super scary: fentanyl and other hard drugs. Yikes!

There's this program called D.A.R.E. America that has been around since way back in 1983. It used to be all about saying "No" to drugs, but now they're changing their tune. Venina Smith, whose son tragically passed away from fentanyl poisoning, thinks this update is long overdue. Her son struggled with addiction and mental health issues since he was a teenager, even though he went through the D.A.R.E. program. Clearly, it needed a serious makeover.

Now, the program is called "Keeping It Real." They're teaching kids in 8th grade and middle school about addiction cycles and how the brain can get hooked on stuff like heroin, fentanyl, and opioids. The Houston Independent School District even brought back the D.A.R.E. program in 2020 because drugs are changing and advancing every day. Can you believe it?

So, why the big fuss about fentanyl? Well, it turns out it's super dangerous, and kids can come into contact with it without even realizing it. It might be lurking in their food or hiding in candy from their classmates. Scary, right? That's why they added a fentanyl fact sheet to the program. They want to make sure you know how dangerous these drugs are and that they're not okay, even if someone says they are.

So remember, kids, just saying "No" isn't enough. Stay informed and keep it real. Say "No" to fentanyl and all those other nasty drugs!
