🎓 Let's Learn: Don't Make a New Year's Resolution. Live One

New Year's resolutions are something most make knowing they won't follow through. The Gyms fill up in January and By March are empty once more. Personally I've never been a fan of the whole idea. It's better to improve yourself year round, and skip the once a year start and quit tradition.

It is however a good time to reflect and prepare for a new chapter. You can always learn from the past by reflecting while it's still fresh. And not make those same mistakes once more.

An end of the year "assessment" is a great place to start. But it's the plan moving forward that can be a challenge. It's best to write out your goals, and the write, step-by-step, exactly how you plan to achieve that goal. And guess what, those plans will probably break apart... and that is Ok. Actually, that's a GOOD thing, because it allows you to figure out what doesn't work and what you can do differently to succeed.

So, if you've already failed your New Year's Resolutions... don't wait until next year to get back on the wagon. Start again today. And again tomorrow. Take one-step at a time. Heck, if anyone knows how to keep trying, THAT'S US! We are the world's greatest experts on this. So let's go level up today!

I expect the mistakes and therefore they will not surprise me.

I expect roadblocks and will be ready to overcome them.

I will not give up at the slightest urge.

I will see the slightest urge a chance to strengthen my discipline.

I am free when I live how I choose.

And I choose to embrace the roadblocks.
